Obviously I’ve been riding a lot. After a year of doing nothing but swimming and lifting, I’m finally finding the fire to get the wheels rolling under me again. It’s been very satisfying to spin the cranks, and feel my legs strong, and able.

The Himalayas,

I have been to some remote places, not Nepal, but I have been to places in Afghanistan where white men had never been seen before, there is a purity in these places, that cant be easily described.

Negotiating for Legos

It’s Saturday coffee time. I call this my “Navy” mug, though I got it from a guy in the Coast Guard, and I dont think it was from the ship. I was complaining about thin walled mugs not keeping things hot, and he just showed up with it one day. He said, “you have to ask a guy who stands on the bridge for nine hours with a cup.”
