I just watched this, and its everybit as compelling as it was in 1984.

The basic premise is that the world experiences a global economic meltdown, Russia is cursed with failed crops, and grasping at a last ditch effort, they invade the US.

These brothers and friends loosley organized by and around the varsity football team of Calumet High school in Calumet Colorado. The boys are raised as strong, healthy outdoors-men.they begin a guerrilla campaign against their would be captors.
